PPSJ has new editor and book review editor

The Philippine Political Science Association and the Philippine Political Science Journal (PPSJ) are pleased to announce PPSJ's new editor and book review editor.

Starting January 2014, Maria Ela L. Atienza of the University of the Philippines is the new editor of PPSJ, succeeding Temario C. Rivera. Maria Divina Gracia Z. Roldan of De La Salle University assumes the book editorship, replacing Francisco A. Magno.

Dr Atienza is associate professor in the Department of Political Science, University of the Philippines, Diliman. She was former Director of the Third World Studies Center, and former Editor of Kasarilan (Journal of Third World Studies) from 2010 to 2013. She was also President of the Philippine Political Science Association from 2007 to 2009. She was PPSJ managing editor before her appointment as PPSJ editor. 

Dr Roldan is associate professor, and is currently vice chair and graduate program coordinator at the Political Science Department, De La Salle University, Manila.

Meanwhile, Dr Rivera, who has served as PPSJ editor for about two decades, will remain with the PPSJ as editorial consultant and member of the Board of Editors.
