In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic updates, the Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA) Board of Trustees met on Saturday (14 March 2020) and decided to POSTPONE the PPSA Conference to 26-27 August 2020 (Wednesday and Thursday). The new date 26-27 August 2020 is based on our optimistic assumption that the COVID 19 situation would be over by the summer. 

The deadline for registration is extended to 15 June 2020.

We hope that you are still able to attend the conference on this new date. In case the new date is not amenable to your schedule, we will provide a payment refund. Kindly contact the PPSA 2020 secretariat for the refund process at ppsa2020conference@gmail.com.

For those who have already booked a flight to/from and accommodation in Iloilo, we would like to ask you to kindly rebook or get a travel refund from your respective airlines and hotel. Given the community quarantine and the travel ban in place into/out of Luzon, we think that airlines and hotels have these options in place. 

We thank you for understanding of the difficult decision we had to make. We hope that the postponement of the conference to a later date will still encourage you to participate. Lastly, we wish everyone safe and healthy days ahead.
